Replacement dwelling in Cambridgeshire

Hibbs & Walsh Associates obtained planning consent for this replacement dwelling in Cambridgeshire.
The Cambridgeshire planners required the replacement dwelling to be no higher than, and to not significantly exceed the volume of the original dwelling. This House in Cambridgeshire was constructed using SIPs panels (Structural Insulated Panels) which enable a fast construction time and achieve excellent thermal qualities. SIPs panels are incredibly strong and can provide greater energy efficiency utilising thinner wall construction compared to more traditional materials and therefore Hibbs & Walsh Associates were able to maximise the amount of available floor area. This house also has a basement constructed from waterproof concrete.
