Conversion of grade II listed barn to offices

Architects Hibbs & Walsh Associates have refurbished and extended many commercial properties for both office and light industrial use.

The needs and priorities of commercial clients are different, though some projects have involved the conversion of listed buildings. The photographs show the conversion of a large barn (6,000 square feet) into an impressive suite of offices.

The architects have also designed small new build speculative office schemes, and often handle applications for change of use on behalf of property owners.

Hibbs and Walsh Associates have succeeded in obtaining planning permission and Listed Building Consent for restaurants and cafes in difficult town centre locations. The practice has experience of designing outlets for end users such as Pizza Express, Starbucks and the Fish’n’Chick’n chain.
