Hibbs and Walsh Associates have considerable experience of refurbishment and extension of commercial properties, both for office and light industrial use.
The client requirements and priorities often vary considerably in comparison with domestic clients. Some projects have involved the conversion of listed buildings, and the photograph shows a large barn conversion (6,000 square feet).
The practice has designed some small scale new build speculative office schemes and frequently handles applications for change of use on behalf of property owners.
The practice has also been successful in obtaining permission for restaurants and cafes, in difficult town centre locations. The practice has experience of designing outlets for end users such as Fish'nChick'n, Pizza Express and Starbucks.
